1) An individual's social class impacts their physical health and their ability to get proper medical care and nutrition and their life expectancy. Socioeconomic status (SES) determines an individual’s health status. People with lower SES will have less insurance coverage and thus they will get less adequate health care than people with higher SES. People who live in poor neighborhoods will have fewer grocery stores and more fast-food chains. They will also have fewer recreational facilities than the wealthy ones and thus they suffer from many diseases than the wealthy people with higher SES (Lumen Learning). The poor and the affluent communities in the U.S are both close to hospit
